Exchanges and Courier Information
Goods correctly supplied cannot be refunded. However, exchanges may be arranged at our discretion, provided the items and their packaging are inspected and found to be in brand new condition within 14 days.
For any exchanges, the customer will be responsible for covering the courier fees both for returning the original items and for receiving the exchanged goods. We recommend using a reliable courier service with tracking capabilities to ensure the safe return of items.
Can I custom order an item I need?

Do you ship internationally or only in South Africa?
Currently, we only offer shipping within South Africa. We do not provide international shipping at this time.
Shipping Delivery & Costs
We offer delivery at competitions where possible, or via The Courier Guy directly to your door.
Courier costs are calculated based on volumetric weight, meaning larger packages, such as weapons, will incur higher shipping fees.

how do I check availability and pricing?
To add products to the quote request form, simply browse through our products and select the items you’re interested in. Once you’ve found a product, click on the “Check Availability” button, located on the product page. Repeat this process for all desired items.
After adding all products, complete the Check Availability form, review your selected products, and submit the form. We will then revert with pricing and availability.
350N Certificate - Clothing and Masks
SAFE Fencing offers high-quality protective clothing and masks, all certified to the 350N standard for optimal durability and safety. Each piece is rigorously tested to meet international standards, designed to withstand a puncture force of 350 Newtons. This makes it ideal for regular training and moderate sparring, providing reliable protection for fencers of all levels.
Maintenance & Care
CLOTHING
- Read the tag in the clothing carefully.
- Do not bleach.
- Wash at 30°C only.
- Close all Velcro before washing.
BLADES
- Discuss putting a bend in a new blade with your coach.
- Do not store blades in a cloth or paper wrapper.
- Store blades in your bag in a tube to prevent breaks and tip damage.
GLOVES & ELECTRIC JACKETS
Even washable gloves and electric jackets should be washed on a handwash or delicate cycle with limited detergent if you choose to machine wash.
